A pair of 18th century sweetmeat dish figures, of a gallant and his lady, decorated at Derby on Chelsea models. Him in a mauve coat and her with coloured dress and floral apron. Repairs to fingers on each figure. Each is 23cm high. Stock No SA0813 Price £1,500

A Derby Figure of Air, the girl standing on a raised base moulded to simulate clouds, holding a small trumpet and a bird, modelled by Pierre Stephan and showing the ‘French style’ which brought more animation to Derby models.
